Mike B. Chung MD

Michael B. Chung M.D. is a practicing Board Re-Certified (till 2018) Physical, Medicine, and Rehabilitation clinician, specializing in conservative (non-surgical) care of joint and neuromusculoskeletal (sports medicine) disorders.  He graduated from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in 1989, with a Bachelor of Science in Bio-Mechanical Engineering.  He graduated from Ohio State University College of Medicine in 1993.  He did one year of internal medicine residency at Kaiser Permanente (a UCLA affiliate) in 1994, based in Los Angeles, and finished his rehabilitation residency in 1997 at the University of Illinois Hospitals, based in Chicago.  

His practice specializes in the out-patient treatment of injuries or painful conditions, in the acute, subacute, and/or chronic phase.  He also performs impairment rating determinations, second medical opinion consultations with the option of treatment, and independent medical evaluations (including medical expert testimony).
